Early Life and Education

Rise to Prominence

Entrance into Politics
In 2016, Scaramucci took a dive into politics, supporting Donald Trump's presidential campaign. His loyalty and financial backing caught the attention of the then-candidate, who later appointed Scaramucci as a member of his transition team. In July 2017, Scaramucci was named the White House Communications Director, a move that was seen as a significant shake-up in the Trump administration.
Tumultuous Tenure and Departure
Scaramucci's tenure as White House Communications Director was short-lived and marred by controversy. His appointment led to the resignation of Sean Spicer, the former White House Press Secretary, and was followed by a series of public feuds with other White House staff members, most notably Reince Priebus, the former Chief of Staff. Scaramucci's infamous interview with The New Yorker, where he used profanity to describe his colleagues, sealed his fate. Just 10 days after his appointment, Scaramucci was fired by President Trump, following the appointment of John Kelly as the new Chief of Staff.
